I have, twice,Perth to Bruni, Manchester to Perth more leg room and because it was Air Emirates the service was great!

I have flown one Q long haul flight on an A380, it was good. I would choose to fly on one of those again.

Booked on other long haul Q flights on them,but was at the time bits started falling of the them and they were taken off the route at the time.

I prefer Emirates, but Q was cheaper.

We flew overnight on one from Singapore to Sydney with Singapore Airlines. The seats were comfortable and we had plenty of room. The in flight entertainment system seemed pretty good too.

We were in the middle row with all the seats full and still managed to sleep most of the way.

How much is it about the aircraft and how much the airline though.

I must be hard to please, I flew with Qantas, long haul and wasn't overly impressed at all.

We flew on one from Paris to Dubai with Emirates and were very impressed.

There is definitely a little more room for the economy passenger in the A380 which is good especially for long haul.

Emirates service far outpasses Q's.

I fly Emirates to Christchurch, NZ, quite often. Love them. (not on an A380 though)
