It is 45 here atm , can't be bothered doing anything as tis too hot.

should be making a couple of cakes, may later tonight once it cools off a bit , we still have 2 more days of this heat.

we have a swampy, but they struggle in this heat. i'm in the mallee area.

Thirty and a bit.

I was taking a couple of photos of the possum's house, with an eye to maybe fitting an air vent, for her comfort.

Just switched the camera off and out she pops, runs over the bridge to the other, cooler possum house, and lies down in the cool shade of the doorway, there.

Of course, the camera was off... Dammit!

If it's hot enough for her to come out, in the daytime, it's hot.

I might head over to the shops, later, and see if the bitumen's melting, in the carpark.

i can assure you it is certainly melting here.

what a buggar with the camera don't you hate that , would of been nice to see

there is no birds ect here about they will all pop in later for something cool and refreshing.

Yes, she's lucky to have the quality and quantity of accommodation available to her, but that's because Nature provides for them, and I'm part of Nature.

You can have some of our weather if you like - it's cold and miserable here in Bunbury and they had to cancel yesterdays Christmas Parade in Perth because severe thunderstorms and heavy rain had been forecast. I believe thy didn't eventuate though.
