It is actually Friday for me this week. Last Friday was my Tuesday (I'm a shiftworker). I've got 4 days off now, so tomorrow is Friday again for me!

It's been 30 odd years since I've seen Days of Our Lives, but I think it went "Like sand through an hourglass, so are the days of our lives". Or as we said way back when "like sputum through a straw, so were the days of our lives".

I found myself wishing my life away today. I had 20 minutes to go until knockoff time and the clock seemed to be going backwards. I then had to remind myself, if I only had 20 minutes left to live, would I really want that time to fly? No, I wouldn't, so I savoured those last 20 minutes instead.
