A NSW man has been convicted and fined $900 for nearly biting off the **bleep** of another man during a dispute over a box trailer, but Daniel Arthur Hatton claims “I’m 100 percent innocent.”

“I didn’t knowingly bite him on the **bleep**,” he said.

Gosford Local Court heard Hatton, 53, held onto Peter Peterson’s jeans with his teeth until “there was no fight left in him.”

The confrontation began after Hatton went to get an address for Peterson, whom he was taking out an apprehended violence order against, the court heard.

In a recorded police interview, Hatton claimed “I got near the front of his unit when he came flying out the door [with] two other guys and a woman.”

He said he was “set upon by four people.”

Hatton claims he was punched by Peterson, and then the pair wrestled each other to the ground.

Peterson ended up on top “throwing punches,” and Hatton’s head was positioned near Peterson’s crotch, according to witnesses.

“To stop him jumping on me head again, I’ve grabbed a hold of something with me teeth,” Hatton said to police, “and I’ve just held on.”

“I held on for another good minute, you know, in that position,” he said. “I think he just started slumping out… there was no fight left in him.”

I know, if that happened, I would not bite but better to gently suck on it. I guess he wanted to "taste the sausage". Obviously, anyone would do what they have to do in order to survive.
