The time taken for an attacker to get to police may only be a second or two. This is not TV land where everything goes in slow motion and people have time for a long chat.</P><P>&nbsp;</P><P>What did the man expect? Are police meant to be patsies or engage in hand to hand combat with a man with an axe?
