is this man not the stupidest PM we have had since....well ok, since tony abbott, but still

he has this simering volcano of a problem with these 'boat people' but rather than do a quick deal to offload them to NZ he says "no thanks, my pal Trumpy, the boat people lover, is going to help me"

Why don't you just take them in? It's too bad all this time sitting on that island you couldn't have re-educated them, given them training of some sort so they could have integrated.

I think it's got something to do with what is called "the push-pull factor" and Peter Dutton wants to stop pulling it.
