I always thought the biggest hazard I faced at Bunnings was coming out with more things than I went in for... ha ha.

(That's closely followed by my wife finding out that I'd been to Bunnings without her... ha ha).

It's all a conspiracy! There will be books written about the heights of hysteria an innocent onion can inflict upon unsuspecting citizens! But wait, there's more >>>>>>> What about the repercussions for the poor sausage left to fend for itself in the bread/bun without it's onion?????

It's just all too overwhelming in this day and age, what with everything else going on ....

Shouldn't the directive have been to get the 'meet and greet' person on the way in,

to say "Nope' to anyone wanting to enter while eating their sausage?

Eat it outside!!

There's a 'meet and greet' person on the door of every Bunnings.

But now they're letting tradies bring their dogs in, what about someone slipping on dog poop?

They let the tradies bring their dogs and suddenly everyone wants to bring their dog with them.

I'd like to avoid dogs when I'm shopping, let alone their poop.

Dont have a Bunnings nearby, so shop at Mitre 10 ( which I prefer ). We are allowed to bring our dog in there ( we never do ), so am guessing other shoppers are as well. In 12 yrs of shopping there, cant say I have every seen any dog poop in or around the store. They don't "do" sausages etc., so no probs there either. Plus we get rewards for shopping there, dont think they do that at Bunnings?

Thank goodness, stawka. I was wondering if only i thought this was the obvious solution.

I read about the man who had a bad fall, slipping on a piece of onion. It should not have been there on the shop floor in the first place.

If staff are going to let people enter with the onions & dogs etc then it is their job to clean up any hazards caused by the policy.

Easier to just say no.

PS I would think the dogs would be easier to monitor than the onions but if ever a person is bitten in a store, I think there could be trouble.

You could be right, Brighton. I don't know what regulations they have about the dogs but I'd hope at the very least they had to be on a leash. My brother in law is a builder. At one time he used to take a dog with him to work (not these days) but it makes me smile to think of the dog in a trolley as none of his dogs were little things. Big loping black dogs. Put one in a trolley and there would be no room for anything else.

GAFFA TAPE!

yes, wrapping the whole thing, bread, onion and sausage with a layer of GAFFA TAPE!

no spillage will occur!
