Seems has 200 people onboard PS Ruby Princess are suffering coronvirus with the ship now scheduled for the open seas to return to home port - a country no doubt currently or soon to be ravaged by the plague

Sending healthy crew members to an uncertain future is one thing but the sick and infirm ?

I am uneasy - seems like we have some maritime obligations to assist the stricken

I know usually on the high seas but still , this is a serious illness

I would be in favour of offering sanctuary here with treatment of the confirmed ill , 14 day isolation for the healthy crew and the ship kept as collateral , sending the bill to the ship owner's , then the healthy and recovered having the option to fly out or spend the duration on the harvast trail. Healthy minimal crew to return the ship.

At the least treating the confirmed ill onshore with the ship sent as now scheduled with the remainder
