Four Minnesota police officers have been fired after the death of a black man who was taken into custody and seen on video being pinned down by his neck.

Minneapolis Police Chief Medaria Arradondo said the four officers were now "former employees".

Footage shows the man, George Floyd, groaning and repeatedly saying "I can't breathe" to the white officer.

The incident echoed that of Eric Garner, a black man who died being arrested in New York City in 2014.

The FBI has said it will investigate the Minneapolis incident, which took place on Monday evening.

from what i understand police in america are like seperate entities, even from town to town.

so a cop can get fired for whatever reason and get a job in another station in another town/city the next day!

unless they are chaged with a crime, found guilty then fired.

there are reports of cops doing things that get them fired numerous times, then moving to a new location and doing it again.

not unlike pedo priests

Perhaps he shouldn't have been filming her and that's possibly what started it. But that woman seems to be a waste of space. Thank goodness a couple of rednecked cops didn't come and seriously hurt or kill him. And yes, this is why Afriican American men get murdered by the cops

People like that crazy woman are exactly the ones who Alan Jones uses to create further fear and panic by playing on their fears and feeding their phobias.

There's a similarity here. Yvonne who rung up AJ, and that woman in the park represent the stupidity and ignorance that ruins our world.

i often wonder wether the Yvonnes are real callers or employed callers paid to 'ring in' and say stuff to 'stir the pot'

of course there are people like her out there but surely they are way too busy working to have time to call AJ

You know it would not surprise me on bit that the soc-called woman was a paid shill paid to stir the pot or boost his ratings. That's a good point. And yeah you'd think most people would be too busy working to ring him.

I don't know what to make of the video. The man was polite, but she looked scared. The fact that she initially approached him suggests she might just be a good actor. It's a worry over there.

It's possible that he caught her abusing her dog. Look at the way she was treating it on the video, it was literally choking and gasping as she kept swinging it by its neck. . In the link it said that the dog was returned to the shelter due to injuries. I don't think she was acting ., she was plain scared as she'd been caught out. He is to be commended for his calmness.

You are probably right bright.ton42. What she wanted was for him to stop videoing her. But at the end she near lost it - not a very stable person I suspect.

he wasnt filming her until she became stupid and acted like a fool

he was abiding the park rules in an area set aside as a 'bird watching' area where dogs MUST be ON LEAD.

she had her dog OFF lead

he requested she put her dog ON lead

leading to her freaking out and the video begins

at no time did he behave badly during the video

however she acted like a total cow

all she had to do was bend down, clip the lead onto the dog then go on her way

but NO, she turned this minor incident into WW3

and in the process lost her dog and her job and prolly any friends she had!

i thought i was the only one noticing what she did to the dog.
Dogs are not allowed to be off the leash there, all the man did was he told her to put the dog on the leash. She started to threaten him, if she just put the dog on the leash, instead of choking it, and walked away she would have been OK. I mean if she was frightened she would not have been telling him she is going to call the police and tell them he is threatening her, and walked towards him. She acted hysterical to get the cops think she is in danger. He had to film her or it would have been her word against his, and if he got the wrong cop he could have ended like George Floyd.

I am glad she does not have the dog anymore, and I am not surprised she lost her job; I would not want her to work for me either.

she said on camera she would tell the police he was threatening her and he was 'black'

then did it

this could so easily have resulted in a dead black man

had he run off? in fear for his life?
