If you're breathing, you have a life.

99% of people just have ordinary, everyday lives. You don't have to do anything extraordinary to 'have a life' or even 'enjoy life'.

You're not a failure if you never made it to millionaire or you're not famous.

How much is your life worth? You can't put a money amount on it as if you traded your life for money, then you wouldn't be around to enjoy the money, would you? The only trade people will sometimes make though is their life to save another's life.

PS Yes, doctors often have to make decisions on a practical basis, as to who will get organs etc. But that is other people evaluating a life, it isn't about what do you think your life is worth. You might value being alive even if you're old and sick.

You have posted 23 thousand times. Does that mean you have a lot more time to spend than someone with much less postings. Doesn't that take up time away from other interests in your life?

I'm sure your life is as precious to you as mine is to me. But would most people on the planet have traded either of our lives for that of Stephen Hawking's? I think so. And why? Because his contributions to the world were astronomical whereas ours are insignificant. The question lacks depth and is what I would expect a child to ask.

Interesting point, but most of mine are in the answer centre responding to queries on eBay and PayPal as well as an attempt of peacekeeping on the boards rather than starting discussions that at times create controversy.
