One thing I do like is that I can float a topic if I'm interested and ignore others that I usually always mark as read when I haven't and let them sink to the last page.

hannahmallory, I haven't yet seen the ability to float a topic. If that can be done, it will mitigate some of the problems of this new layabout.

I'll explore the topic-float possibility.

Near the top of this page on the right hand side, click on options. You can then select float this thread.

I should have added that when the thread gets old and stale you can also click on options and un-float the topic.

Ahhh! And I have just confirmed a suspicion of mine; one can insert images by using copy-paste.

I screenshot the float options, cropped it, copied it to my clipboard, and with Ctrl-V I am able to post it here.

I just drag mine in from the desktop, seems to work with jpg and gif - and resize it once I place it.

I had no end of trouble this morning till I relaised I was trying to place a png LOL

When viewing the boards on my iPhone, none of the topic buttons are showing. I can only see

However, I’ve been able to copy-paste the emoticon (gif) and the screenshot (jpg) using the iPhone’s usual copy-paste instructions.

It it is certainly not easier than pre-makeover.
