Where are you Gremlins at?

This thread is a test subject for the technical glitches/odd happenings/missing subject matter when helpfuls are given

For myself, the past several days, any 'helpful' I get a notification for, does not have the subject matter under the 'helpful' if it was given for something I posted in the community spirit arena, other threads such as buying/selling have shown what the helpful was for

So, just a testing one, two type thread to see what happens here, if anything

Mine were 'normal' for a day, then yesterday when I posted the meme about saying sorry to a Mannequin, they went whack again

If you had any helpfuls given to a meme post during the glitches, that might explain any later linkless helpfuls in the meme thread, sandypebbles.

The new meme about the mannequin was only posted yesterday (after the glitch day) and the helpful I got just said I got helpful for 're' (which the 're' was clickable)

I talked too soon! Some notifications don't have the link or who liked the post, and the funny thing is... I am SURE that THOSE notifications originally had the link because I remember clicking on it!

Also... on the eBay main website some strange things happen! Some titles are in other languages - sellers I had saved and who had always titles in English of course, and yes, I am on the Aussie site. Not only that - different languages on the same page!

And some titles are in red???

On the day the Helpful issue started, I couldn't open CS. After a while I did but the appearance was different and the wrong threads were appearing on Page 1 - some quite old. I guessed eBay was up to something so I deleted all cookies and caches. Everything then seemed to return to normal, although the Helpfuls from that day are still missing the posts they were for!

My Re re's have been replaced with what they were referring to.

I got blanks on Thursday and Friday, but all back to normal since Saturday.

Oh, and I still have to click 'latest reply' on a lot of threads

Back again today, for me anyway

Can’t get onto the forum at all on the laptop, no matter what browser I am using or what clearing I’ve done

eBay itself loads fine though

Loads instantly on the ipad

Friday fiddles are catching

Useless as Ts on a B again for me today

Taken until now to even be able to log in

Impossibly slow, I hit reply on anything and the reply button vanishes with nothing else happening

Cleared cookies, changed browser. Nothing

Once it did eventually load, it just sits and sits

No other websites doing the same

I noticed a server issue for the main eBay site and these boards earlier this week, and I agree that the boards are studded with technical issues manifesting in posts not appearing, “hung” pages, frequent lock-outs, and so on.
