Who will be watching? Started seeing ads for it on TV, but can't find any info about when it will start.

I have seen the adds for it, dont know when it is on.

Depends what else is on at the same time.

I will most likely watch it. I don't think 10 have announced when it will air.

It annoys me quite a bit that channel 10 will start a regular ad campaign for their shows a month or two before they are ready to air them.

No.. that chef they have to be the new head chef is a liar... he is so obnoxious.. I can't stand the ads, I actually turn the channel when they come on..

Just saw another ad - it starts on 20th Jan.

I felt the last series of MC was drawn out for a few weeks too long(spent too much time focusing on the top 24, instead of the top 12), and that gave me serious MC fatigue, resulting in me skipping MC All Stars altogether.

I'll see how MC TP goes - the ads do make it look really good.

Yep, he is so far up himself.... Dont get how those sort are seen as imtimidating.

At the end of the adds, it says the series starts on the 20th Jan.

I will be watching, love the series. Hope they dont all say, "produce", beautiful", etc in every sentence like the contestants last year.

Me too.. Then by the time the show starts, you're so sick of seeing the ads that you can't recall the date that it screens and miss the whole season because you tune out when the ads come on.

I will be watching. I love to watch people create new recipes off the top of their heads.

If you miss any episodes you can probably watch them on Channel 11 on Sundays. Last time they showed the whole week's worth in one day.

You can watch them on the MC website. In fact, you can watch every season of MC and Junior MC, and All Stars right now on the MC website.

Aww. Matty went home already. He was one of the contestants I liked.

I'll include my post here even though one of the people I liked was the first to go home. 😮

I'm nearly through the first show and I can't find the original thread. I'm sure there was one so please post a link because I don't want to do the dirty on them.

So what do you think?

I really liked the young bloke with the hat and Cassie and the lady that is deaf.

I'm confused why they included the man that has a sick daughter. They even had his story on the Project the other night. Maybe they could do that because he is out of the show already and won't be in the final.

I enjoyed it, although I thought the beginning was boring and drawn out, with each of them entering the kitchen separately. Cassie is a cutie.

The guy with the sick daughter is there to pull heart strings. He probably got into the show for the same reason. But I noticed that there is no MC house that they all stay in, and they have to change their clothes in a change room. To me this, means that they are all local, so can go home after filming, and probably even go to work.

I was thinking more of the prize, Moonlight. Yes the money is good but I think they said that the winner would be off around the world working for different chefs or something.

I did think it was a bit manipulative of channel 10 to do that segment on the Project before MasterChef started.

He used to do a write up on MasterChef last year or the year before, Nero. He is a very funny man.

Granted I only saw the 2nd half. But shouldn't the guy who served raw lamb brains be the one going home.

It's called beef tartar, basically raw beef. Personally, raw food is a turn off, so I wouldn't touch it.

The other guy is so up himself, they should've let him stay.

I didn't realise the show is only on 3 nights a week. I like the girl with the hearing problem, but I think that puts her and any team she is in at a disadvantage.
