Sounds like an excellent idea

I would highly doubt eBay vet advertisers, as long as they earn $$ from something

But you would need to contact eBay if you wanted to let them know your thoughts, nobody from eBay reads here

Fraudulent Advertiser

I clicked on Banner ad on eBay home page for REMOVED. I purchased 2 items and when I received (5 months later) neither matched the website descriptions and photos, and are worth a fraction of the price that I paid. I only clicked on the banner ad as I trust eBay and assumed that you would vet advertisers. For me this experience has damaged the eBay brand as I will not click on banner ads again.

Are you sure it was a genuine advert on the eBay site and not just an advert through cookies and your browser showing on the eBay site ?

There are pop ups that will appear to be on the site you are visiting.

I use a free adblocker, it makes eBay run faster.
