How to Write a Review of an Item?

Hi, just wondering how do you write a review of an item that has been purchased and delivered? I cant seem to find anything anywhere that indicates this is an available option.

I have obviously bought stuff before here but have never been asked or bothered to write a review. Have purchased items from Amazon in the past and they want you to write a review .. eBay seems to be the opposite?

The eBay feedback is very limited and not really for the listing of any obscure operational procedures and design functionalities of an item that I would like to mention for other buyers.

eBay usually send an email asking if you are happy with the product, that is the review page.

The emails seem to arrive around 2-4 weeks after it's delivered.

Maybe eBay doesnt like me .. ha ha .. I have every email sent from eBay since june 2013 in an eBay only folder (there are like 100's) however, I cant find anything relating to being happy with the purchase of a product?

Is there a definite keyword in the subject I could use?

It is no big deal I guess .. it would just be handy to know .. and like bizarre if they dont let you write a review.

Maybe just Google reviews on that item, then put yours in there ?

I rarely get asked to put a review in on an item I've bought, and I've never put one in so far. They tend not to be very item-specific anyway.

I get so many emails from eBay, even when I am not buying stuff, that I probably just marked them as "read"

Ya .. I dont buy that much stuff here and most of it would be just generic things that dont need a review or could be covered in feedback .. so I have never really looked before.

Anyway .. SOLVED!! ha ha

We've received a couple of those over several years, but not many.

And then found that only the most positive reviews were visible anyway and one of our less than flattering reviews wasn't visible.

So we don't bother now.

I think you might be right ... of all the emails I have .. there are only a few of the "do you like your" in there.
