Why do we need to click on Sent icon to get return label, when we haven't sent item yet?

For the slow ones up the back like me.... can you rephrase that so it makes sense?

If you haven't sent it yet, then it cannot be returned.

Just refund if that is what you are trying to do.

Or if you are the buyer, then when you open the return case you will get the label when the seller accepts the return case. Then after the parcel is lodged at PO, the case will show item sent as a return.

Return means "send back", and you cannot send back something that has not been sent in the first place.
