I updated my address and then made a purchase. this purchase is being sent to my old address WHY???

Did you also update your address in Paypal (if that's how you paid).

It always displays the shipping address at checkout - did you double check it?

How do you know it's going to the wrong address?

I was just going to ask about PayPal too.

Do you know it is going to the wrong address because of the tracking?

Where did you update your address?

How did the seller get a hold of your old address if it was updated correctly, in the correct places?

Why did you not check the address was the right one at checkout?

Not the seller's fault , they have to send it to the address provided by you, that you confirmed was correct before paying

I am not a seller, but I have seen sellers mention in the description that they will only post to the PayPal address, so I guess that's where they post their items (if a buyer uses PP of course)?

Yes I remember I used to read that a lot too.

But I was talking to a regular seller on ebay and he said that since he moved to managed payments a year or so back, he doesn't even see how buyers pay, so I am guessing he doesn't have to look up the paypal address these days.

Fact remains that the seller had to get the previous address from somewhere and I am wondering if kruper5 updated the address details but it hasn't saved properly for some reason and he didn't think to double check at checkout.
