Are you sure it was ebay that cancelled and not the seller?

I know some sellers do cancel and cite 'problem with buyer's location' as a reason even when it is not, but that's usually when they are wary about going ahead with a sale and you say your last purchase from them was hassle free.

Sellers are allowed to restrict the areas & countries they post to, which a number of them do for various reasons. Even if the blocks didn't apply before, things may have changed in the interim.

Are you located in a very remote area? I know some couriers might not deliver there or their nearest depot might be a long way from your location.

Maybe you could send a message to ask the seller if they could clarify why your order was cancelled.

I have been a member of Ebay fore decades in Australia and the UK and have always had a good time.

Now they have decided my post code is outside there area and I will not get any parcels. I purchased a product only three months ago, delivered on time all good, I just ordered the same product from the same company only for Ebay to cancel the sale due to my post code. We need to show Ebay these policies are out of control and will cost them money, NO MORE EBAY FOR ME. If they loose customers may be they will change there policies.

I assure you, eBay are not going to notice

For every one buyer that has a huffy and 'leaves' there are ten more to take their place

I won't ask how it is eBay who decided your postcode is 'out of their area' rather than those responsible for delivery
