I cannot believe all the cheap **bleep** that is being advertised for sale on Ebay and when you receive it - it is utter cheap rubbish- I will be checking everything I purchase now from Ebay - been caught twice in one day

eBay do not sell anything

Why buy cheap garbage from dodgy sellers and then complain when you get exactly what you bought?

You have full choice what you buy from whom

No need to tell other members you choose to buy rubbish

Given the feedback of some of the sellers you buy from, it is no surprise

Just because rubbish is listed does not mean you have to buy it

OP, choose reputable Australian registered sellers if you need anything with a warranty.

If you buy at an unrealistically low price, chances are that you’re not grabbing a bargain; rather, you’re buying unsafe rubbish.

There are good deals to be had on eBay… but some prices are obviously ridiculous and cannot indicate the genuine article. Be savvy, and check seller’s location (not item location) by clicking onto seller feedback percentage, then the “About” tab.

Their feedback is rubbish

So that is exactly what it is (cheap Chinese junk shop)

All that information is there before buying

So don't buy junk from dodgy sellers in China and expect anything else

The place is saturated with cheap stuff from China, it isn't like the old days when most items were from aussie families just selling off a few things here and there.

But I don't know how you can get caught because you've been on ebay a long time and probably have bought a lot more than I have, so it is not as if you are without experience. Mind you, these boards are a great place to learn and get up to speed if you're having trouble. I have learnt a lot from people here.

One thing I notice on ebay is that if a seller had feedback in the mega thousands, that is often a red flag (to me) that they may be selling loads of cheap items. The ebay system may wax lyrical about that seller but you only have to look at what they have for sale and you'll see for yourself.

You're better off with a small to medium seller from Australia (and double check seller location, not item location) and for quality goods. You'll pay a bit more. But if a new item is dirt cheap for what it is, you can pretty much bet it won't be good quality.

You don't have to get caught, be discriminating & check things out carefully before you buy.
