I'm a bit puzzled as the feedback you last left for a seller sounds as if it is for exactly this case, but if so, it sounds as if the matter has been settled as you mention you got a refund.

If this is a different case (and your post was only last night, at 9.13pm), then you need to go straight to an ebay claim. Don't go trying to sort things out yourself.

If you run into problems, contact a human rep at ebay, then you have a record of your concerns.

My worry for you is if you are after a genuine collectable, a seller from China isn't a most reliable source.

Hi all,

I am returning an item I bought off Ebay. The item was not as described and arrived opened and not sealed. Went through the talks of a partial refund but because the item cost a lot of money and I was buying it sealed for collection purposes and we couldn't come to an agreement I opted to return the item.

So the seller has provided me a return address and said they will send me money for the label through Paypal. (They say they can't create a label)

The address they have provided is in English but I can't make sense of it. Has anyone sent anything back to china with one of these addresses?

I won't post the full address for obvious reasons but it looks like roughly like this RUIFENGSHANGWUGUANGCHANG.

They are correct in that they can't provide a return label as they are not in Australia and don't have access to Australian postage services.

Have you opened an Item Not as Described dispute?

If not, do so. And follow through in the applicable timeframes. eBay provide a Money Back Guarantee. Use it.

If so, use the tools eBay give you. The ball is in the seller's court.

In any event, DO NOT purchase postage or send the item until you have payment for postage in you hands. And ensure it covers a tracked method.

The seller's return address is the seller's problem.

I planned to lodge an ebay return once I had worked out how I was sending the return back and had all my ducks in a row so to speak.

I didn't want to lose return time due to issues I was having trouble with. One issue I did have was the address they gave me was too long for the freight site I was going to use.

If you don’t want to ‘lose time’ then don’t buy from dodgy sellers who have rubbish feedback in the first place

Sorry, but with all the negs the seller has, it is no surprise you have issues

Not me, the OP did

But indeed a collectable from the fake producing center of the world, from a seller with feedback to warn more than enough to hit the back button
