Yet another seller refusing safe payment method...

Seems to be an increasing thing here on eBay.

I understand the fees are extremely outrageous however sellers still should stop refusing to accept an advertised payment method...

Attempted to leave apropriate feedback however came up with this disturbing notification...

Sorry, you can't leave negative or neutral Feedback for this PowerSeller until 7 days after purchase.

In the mean time, please contact the seller to try to work things out.

Power seller? Already has 3 negatives plus 7 neutrals?

Pfft.

Did you attempt to contact the seller? Perhaps there was an error on a listing, they must offer at least one safe method or the listing will not go through (as far as I understood it anyway) ??

yes i contacted the seller.

all attempts were ignored for first 6 houirs and then finally got a reply stating that they simply refuse to accept payment and paypal

looking now at their feedback i can see this particular seller has attempted this stunt before and hasnt got away with it.

I only hope now that after 7 days this sellers future prospective bidders will see that our negative feedbacks really mean that this seller refuses to offer his/her buyers an instant, safe and secure payment method.

Wow, you really need to report this seller, as far as I am aware it is absolutely mandatory to offer a 'safe payment method' whether it be paypal, paymate or Merchant credit card, I would not touch them with a barge pole

Yeah you got that right. I did report this however do nto at all expect anything to be done about due to the fact that if eBay remove this seller they will miss out on fees and that is all that they care about, it has been well known for about a decade now.

Just report them, then Neg them

If eBay removes the neg, complain to ebay and cite the report.

Hi there sorry paymate are weird with there requirements so my account isn't working and I dont use PayPal, I have an excellent feedback record and am not a dodgy seller so I can guarantee you will receive he item if you do choose to pay via bank, you could go to a branch and make the deposit that way if possible, if not I'll have to cancel the order sorry for the inconvenience

EXCELLENT FB??? Yeah right. 1034 feedback points ( sales and purchases ) including a whopping 3 negatives and 7 neutrals in the past 12 months. LOL That is poor feedback.

That is less than 1% not fully satisfied and 0.3% negative. 3 from 1000 is b-all.
