ANZ Banking

Is anyone else haveing problems paying for things from the ANZ banking site... I can get in to my account then to pay anyone..Then I can type in the payees details but when I click on the pay ( green) button on the bottom, the whole site freezes up and I can't go any further.. Then the whole site closes down.. Is it me or the banks problem.. I hope too that this is the right place to put thisThanks..

Sorry, it is not really the right place to ask.....the problem is obviously between you and your bank and nothing to do with ebay.

As a long time user of internet banking my first phone call would be to my bank to see if they had any know issues with their site.

Pepper, ring your bank & explain the problem U are having - it might be their problem or it might be malware or something.

Thank You both for your replies and I am sorry if I have put this question in the wrong place as I couldnt find anywhere else to put it...

I would also LOVE to phone my bank but I do not use a phone as I am deaf...I was hoping that someone else may have used the ANZ to pay for something and let me know if it was working for them or not...Sorry

Hi Peppers, I use ANZ all the time and find when it freezes up occasionally I just clear cookies and cache then reboot the computer. This seems to reset it ok for me. Worth a try 🙂

Oh dear, I am sorry...I had no idea you were deaf.

I have no idea about ANZ but St George bank has a facility for contacting them by email....I have used it once in the middle of the night and received a reply very promptly in the morning. Could you investigate that option?

All is fine with my ANZE internet and smartphone banking as far as I can tell.

I just successfully did a transfer via pay anyone between a couple of my accounts to test the function and it was working fine.

Have you tried to log on and process a transaction using a different browser ??

Like ebay I have often had problems with ANZ using IE so now usually use Firefox or Chrome. If you are refering to paying ebay sellers then why aren't you using Paypal?

i need to pay for an ebay item and the seller tells me to go on anz banking and im pretty much lost on the site what do i do ??

You really need to start a new thread.....this is an old one and not many members will read it.

But do not pay by bank transfer as you have no buyer protection. Use PAYPAL!!!!

You are a new member and the seller is trying to con you into using an unsafe payment method.
