Providing you have cleared funds in your paypal account, it could be a problem at the seller's end. I had a similar problem a few weeks ago, and thought the payment didn't go through, so I did it again.....twice. The result was paypal had my extra funds for free for over a week before I got them back. Looks like the trap could be set for you too. Contact the seller and get them to fix it up, if they want to sell the item they will.

I have money in my Pay Pal account. I bought something many days ago and it still says payment pending. Do I have to try and pay again or will it just click over and pay?

If there were enough funds in your account to cover the entire payment, it should have been processed as an instant payment, and the most common reasons it will show as pending is that the seller either made an error in their email address or the account is not actually registered with that address on file.

I think the first step is to contact the seller and confirm if either of those scenarios are the case here.

Many of my Pay Pal payments take up to 5 days to be processed and paid for.

I often have the word pending shown on my list of Pay Pal payments. Sometimes they seems to process things very slowly. I would not worry too much but check your Pay Pal account each day to see when it gets paid and completed. Good luck 🙂

That is probably because you are funding your payments from a bank account, not Paypal funds or a credit card. In those instances, as said, the payment will be immediate unless there is an issue at the seller's end.
