topic Postage question in Buying

I sell baby and little girl's hair clips and wonder how much I should be charging my customers. I want to be accurate. If I send out a pair of hair clips in a bubble mailer of about 19 by 13CM and about 1CM thick in total, how much should I be charging just for the postage? Hair clips are very small and light but i want to use a bubble mailer to protect them.

Is there a better and cheaper way? Thanks.

if they are safe enough in a bubble mailer, then you should charge the postage (what $1.20 or $1.80?) plus the cost of the bubble mailer, and maybe a few cents for packing material/ yr packing time...

I charge $1.90 for large letter rate items that get sent in an envelope. (postage $1.20, packaging and handling 70c). If the item needs to go in the next size envelope up (and I use laminated envelopes) I charge $2.20 ($1.00 packaging and handling). I never charge more than $1.00 for packaging and handling regardless of how much has been purchased.

Hope this helps.

Same here, I charge $1.00 above actual postage costs. I buy my Size 2 padded bags from Australia Post in a box of 100 for $44. I send my item as a CD and they cost $14 for 50 at OfficeWorks

Best wishes

Robert
