When I enter the 4 digit code for the Phone Verification and click, nothing happen. Help!

I am a first time buyer on eBay. When I click to buy the item I want, a message appears:

Buyer Requirements

This seller has set buyer requirements for this item and only sells to buyers who meet those requirements.

You are unable to bid on or buy this item because:

You haven't gone through phone verification. To bid on or buy the item you selected, please complete phone verification.

Start Phone Verification

Note: If you are still interested in bidding on or buying this item, you may click the button above or contact the seller and ask that they exempt you from this buyer requirement.

When I receive the 4 digit code, I enter and press but absolutely nothing at all happens.

Help!

Go to Customer Supoport tab right up the top right of the page. or

once in there, you will see t3o tabs on the left about 1/3 of the way down which say "Find an Answer" or "Contact eBay"

click on "Contact eBay

Then hover over "Buying"

from the drop down menu on the left hand side is "Getting Started" => "Buying Items"

Click on that and iot will take you tio a page with a range of eBay contact options - get them to give you a call - they'll walk you thriough it.

If preferable, you can also bypass the phone verification block by linking a verified PayPal account or adding a credit card on file with eBay (a Mastercard/Visa debit card also works).
