the computer doesnt allow an overrun of time, you prob just didnt refresh your page quick enough (would depend on your intrnet connection.

no matter when the other person bid, if he bid MORE than your top bid, he wins.

always bid your top maximum, then if you get outbid it will be by someone who was willing to pay MORE than you were prepard to pay

Yes i think i under stand if i use an offshore helper i can make a bid as auction should be finished what sort of auction is that ?**bleep**

I think what you're after is a snipe bidder, if you google "snipe bids on eBay" you'll find a lot of them.

Gixen seems to be the one most recommend here.
