Item not received

Hi, I am new to the discussion boards. I recently purchased some DVDs 05/12. I haven't received them or heard from the seller. The seller has a good track record but has recently got a neg for item not received. The seller has other items for sale at the moment. I emailed the seller 2 days ago but no reply. I have never had a problem before on eBay but I have a bad feeling about this transaction. Any advice would be appreciated.

if you have allowed sufficient time for the parcel to arrive, and you have checked at your local PO to see if the parcel is perhaps sitting there awaiting collection (cause the postie forgot to card it), and if you paid with PayPal, then you can open a dispute for item not received

Hi putney, thanks for the reply. i went to the PO yesterday, no joy. The recent neg against the seller worries me. I did pay via PayPal.

That seller has been leaving feedback nearly every day so they are obviously on their computer or mobile so no excuse to ignore you.

I'd give it until Wednesday & if no parcel,open a Paypal dispute.Just make sure to escalate to a claim within 20 days of opening the dispute.

If it was the Air Crash Investigation DVD set, I would file a dispute with PayPal if you have not heard from the seller after 10 days

$140 is a lot of money to most people and the seller also ended it after you purchased it as no longer availabke

My other advice would be to not pay out $140 for something unless it has a very good description. The description for this DVD set is as basic as you can get

Yes it was the air crash set. For memory it was a buy it now with 2or 3 available. I have emailed the recent buyer who left the neg to see if they have had any joy. I used to know how to pull a sellers contact details, but i cant remember now.

JMO but why waste your time contacting them? Just open a dispute as at least 3 of us have suggested you do.

Flashback, the sellers descriptions are a basically the same for every item they sold. and they have over 700 positive f/b

Next to the item on your won page,there are 3 things-Leave Feedback,Contact Seller & More Actions-click on more actions & look down & you'll see Resolve a Problem.Click on that & follow the prompts to open a Paypal dispute.

Its very easy & you're not ignorant.

I'm not foxette but you can open a dispute for Item Not Received by going into the tab called Purchase History. When you find the product that you paid for, click on the dropdown menu to the right called More Actions.

From that menu, click on Resolve A Problem. You'll be taken to another page where you can either report it as Not as Described or Not Received.

I would wait a few more days... Don't feel as though you have to lodge a dispute right away or you'll lose your money. You have 44 days or so to lodge a dispute and it's only been 10, so give it at least two full weeks to arrive. Around Christmas time, it's generally understood that parcels can take longer to arrive.

Would try ringing the seller as you said .This time of year things do go missing have an item I sold vanish and it is registered but there is no record showing it at all .,Good old Aust Post .

If you cannot get hold of the seller then put in a claim .I think everyone deserves a chance .
