How can I contact ebay live chat

I am trying to contact a seller I have emailed the seller about 6 times and only one reply and I don't think my messages are getting to the seller

try other options

it might not be available for the option you chose?

or maybe live chat has closed for the day so is unavailable

It is called "Chat with us". It can be a bit tricky, it won't always show up as an option but I did get to see the chat option a few moments ago under Contact us (buying category then clicked Buying basics then clicked how to bid or buy after which the chat option also showed up at the bottom). Sometimes you have to try a few different things...

To get to live help click on customer support,(top right of any

eBay page).

Customer Support > Contact eBay > hover over Buying and

select How to pay for items,(if it's a buying question).

Selling = Revise or edit a listing.

My account = Set up a selling account.

That will bring up:

Call us,Call me:

Chat with us.

Send us an Email.

You want to click on: Chat with us,which is live help.

Sometimes it gives you Emma first up,(if this happens hit the

back button and try again).

You should get a pop up box that says eBay Live Help and the

box with your eBay user ID(or email address if not registered).

Then just click on Start Chat and wait for a live help assistant.

Is this the ebay au version? Mine does not show 'contact ebay' now but rather 'contact us' at the bottom of the customer support/find an answer page (which has self service tools, popular questions, browse by topic...)

I already gave an example of one that shows the chat option (buying/buying basics/how to bid or buy). Another is buying/paying for items/how to pay for items...

The Customer Support/contact options pages now appear different to me than they did the last time I checked. Anyone else finding this?

Other options work as well ,(I have that saved as a Macro so it's quick and easy to find and post).

I've never seen that screen before,

The US and UK sites have the same as the one I posted above,(unless yours is some sort of Beta version),

Prefer the 'old' screen. The other day when I finally managed to find chat via that new screen I was told I was actually in the section for password assistance and that I was in UK chat ?! I was definitely logged in via the aussie site but they had to somehow find out how to transfer me to an 'aussie' (ebay au) support chat window.....
