I can't imagine why a seller would require a video. I don't use apple phone, I use android. How I put video in email is follows. Type your subject in, then in main body of email touch the option button (three lines under each other) on phone, then insert file, select gallery, then find the file you want to send. If you use the ebay app you can send photos under "contact seller". Up to five photos. (Android version).

I guess they want a video if it is an item with working parts... maybe with an on/off switch... put the switch on and nothing happens like it should.. a photo wouldn't prove anything in that case but a video would.

I have no idea about iphones but couldn't you upload the video to a photo storage site like photobucket or cloud storage then send them the link. I have an android phone and use google+ and gmail to send and receive photos and videos.

You can only send still images via eBay messages but you can attach a Youtube link to eBay's PMs by using the "insert video" icon. However, if you upload your video clip to a storage site other than Youtube, you can send its URL in the message body as well.

Of course, via POP3 email, you simply send still or video images as attachments to the message.

Cq, I think you will need a computer to do that, I have recived a link in ebays pm, (on phone) links in this way do not work on phone.

I don't even have the eBay app on my smartphone but if using one to send POP3 emails, I can see no reason that images and video clips can't be attached to those email messages. In fact, PJ says above that she does it herself. However, if that's not the case I'm more than happy to stand corrected.

Yes that is.correct, you can do it in email, I was talking about doing it in pm on ebay, it don't work on phone.

OK, well that doesn't surprise me in the least. It is common knowledge that the eBay app is a buggy piece of carp which is precisely the reason that I haven't bothered wasting my time installing it on my android phone.

Very true, I won't say you can't do it on computer, but the link I got won't work on app, won't work on ebay.com.au mobile site, and it won't work on full site. Bloody phone....

Upload the video to YouTube then send the seller the link in a message. I was asked to do that once with a faulty chainsaw and no problems with eBay having YouTube links in a message
