WARNING WARNING WARNING ,this man is a theif he will take your money and send you nothing ,he uses a mob called PAYMATE who are doubtful ,instead of paypal ,he deals in camping equipment ,solar panels , so be warned do not to go near this theif , he drags out the discresion with a ton of bull**bleep** so you can get no satisfaction from this theif

Paymate are a respectable company, not a 'mob' at all. If you have lost out it s because of something you have done to cancel out your buyer protection, nothing to do with Paymate or ebay.

Presumably if you used Paymate you funded your payment with a credit card so you can ask your bank about a chargeback if you haven't left it too long..

I'm sure this OP & same topic was posted last week,maybe on the seller board.

Old mate didn't get his solar panels,i remember cos he had bought fuses & a beer fridge while i was poking around in his purchase history.

He had a few impatient (not from me) responses basically telling him that he should have made a claim sooner.

Maybe the thread got deleted.

he deserved naming and shaming he's ripped off many others apart from me as I have told ebay on the phone many times

but you can't read that in his feedback as he keeps deleting it ,he has deleted at least six negative feedback that I know of I have it on printout all with the same problem they paid for an item and it wasn't received

it just amazes me that I try to warn the ebay comunity of a person of doubtful charactor who is ripping buyers of big time

by suposedly selling them camping goods and power generating equipment and is based in Sydney ,and uses paymate as

his payment system , with either free postage or local pickup .

I didn't allow myself to be stalled I am still in dispute with this theiving individual ,I have printed out every email every invoice I have his name and phone number all I need is his address and I pass all the evidence onto the police ,as I'm getting very little help elsewhere

*sighs* dude,you don't really get bad/scamming sellers here volunteering to answer questions on these message boards.eBay is too stingy to have paid employees answering problems here.The scam sellers don't care about the problems they leave or care to read about them either.

Seller thinks that you may be a problem buyer,either by attitude here or by feedback left for others,then they will block you to protect their account.Scammers don't care about any of that either.

People give you honest replies & if you don't like them,no need to get upset.Not nice to accuse falcon of being as bad as the seller you have a problem with.

Also,if you knew how many members here waste time reporting scam sellers & listings,you would be surprised.Also you would be shocked to know that eBay takes absolutely no notice of these reports or removes any of these dodgy items & those who list them.

How's them apples?

If it was a Visa debit card it works the same way as a credit card. It makes no difference whether the seller has the money or not.

Ask your bank about a chargeback to get your money back. But there is a time limit on this so you should act fairly quickly...different banks have different time constraints.
