I am getting a REALLY tired of this!

Item 381082763056

Outbid by an ID with 7073 feedback (who goofed & won this auction).

100% bidding on this seller's items ~ 38 bids on 37 items over a broad range of categories... from antique bowls to royal collectibles to watchbands and watches.

Seller brings in big bucks for ebay and seems to be one of the untouchables.

Have reported, but it's easier to nail jelly to the ceiling than have Ebay do anything about shilling as it increases the number of dollars clutched in their greedy fists.

Have had a bit of a look but with so many sold listings my eyes glazed over.

However you are right in saying that eBay don't really act on shilling.

Personally I do not let shill bidders bother me....I place one bid at MY price 2-6 seconds from end of auction...if I am outbid I walk away.....if a shill bidder has "won" the auction then let them & their mate deal with the fvf or cancellation repercussions.

It is really the novices who place multiple bids that allow shillers to drive up the bidding on an item.

Winner bidder ;s**s placed bid at 10.01.07. probably had a much higher max. bid as did m**r.

You place a bid at 10.04.47 which was probabley lower than max bids of both of the above.

Suggest you read up on bidding and placing max. bids.

You have missed the point.

After I bid (and was instantly outbid by the shiller (s***s 7073 ) it was only then that I had a look at the bidding history and saw that he had 100% bidding history only on the sellers various items.

Had thought about making a higher bid but instantly scrubbed that idea.

As it turned out, I would not have won it anyway as I was outbid by a genuine bidder (who also was outbid by (s***s 7073 )

I bet the 7073 "buyer" never leaves feedback and now the seller can simply cancel the auction without any negative effect on their Ebay standing...

Not a big deal in the grand scheme of things, but the fact that it is now so common, it further downgrades the already badly tarnished image that Ebay now has.

If you were to look at my bidding history you could be forgiven for thinking I am shill bidding.

I am currently bidding on multiple items from one seller so have 100% bidding history with that seller.

The point is....it is not always shill bidding just because a buyer has 100% bidding with one seller.

I would say that what you have posted is not shill bidding.

The genuine bidder being m***r ( 38 ) who also had multiple bids using max. bid, which was less than( s***s) max. bid.

As I suggested read up on Bidding and max. bidding.
