Seller adding extra charges

I won an auction on ebay in November 2014 iwas the only bidder right from the start.

when i recieved invoice seller added extra charges that were not in the listing !

When questioned he said " ebay was corrupt and i won them to cheap" also said it was suspicious that not one othe rperson on the planet bid on the item ?

i have refused to pay the extra charge and he became very abusive and as such we never completed the sale as he cancelled it.

i never left feedback and also dropped a claim with ebay as he appologised for the abuse he sent me. i thought that was fair.

Two months later he leaves negative comments in my Positive feedback ?

So i responded with feedback, now he opens a dispute to have feedback removed ! and has emailed me several times

Am i correct in saying he cannot add charges after auction end, i was collecting so no postage issue.

Ignore the seller.

Also they are breaking the ebay guidelines by leaving a NEGATIVE 'positive' feedback - you could report this yourself and have his 'positive' feedback removed.

If what you say about the extra charges is true, then your feedback you left the seller is fine.

As sellers are not meant to add extra charges that have not been discussed prior to the sale...

thats exactly how i see it, the guy is seriously off the hook, the messages are incredible.

I seen another buyer had issues last month but his negative feedback has been removed for some reason.

tony, keep all the messages and report the seller to ebay immediately. Ebay can then see what he say to you. He has broken a few rules here.

Ps tony, if the seller cancelled the transaction, he has just earned himself a well deserved defect. Compliments of himself. Karma !!!

Update

Ebay deleted the sellers Negative comments in My positive feedback Box, best bit is they left my response as he was not allowed to do this.

No more e-mails so far so i guess that may have finally stopped it.

Ebay are investigating seller so its looking like Karma bit him !

same thing with me. $5.00 added to postage didnt go up until i received invoice. disputed but told by ebay that their policy allows this. dont expect any protection from ebay against theives.
