Waiting for postal cost.

I bought an item 2 days ago from seller from UK and have asked them for post cost but still no response. Listing says no international postage but most times that's neither here nor there.
Do you think maybe ask for cancellation?

Ideally you should have asked before you bought it. Especially if the listing said no international post. Allow them time to respond now.

I have no doubt that you will not hear from the seller if they do not offer international postage.

What makes you think you are so special that you can ignore it when a seller says they do not post internationally.

It is a pity the seller did not have their blocks in place or you would not have been able to buy anything in the first place.

I have moved from there now. It was a hot bed of trouble(run by a government department).It was like a scene from the movie "The Shining".

"Don't be so impatient. To have opened a dispute this early is utterly ridiculous. A good week before you get the item you ordered, delivered. If you were that concerned ring the seller and talk to them directly"

So if you contacted them around Tuesday (and UK are behind us too...) perhaps they were still on Easter break or something?

maybe I should go to the UK selling forums and see if there is a seller asking what to do about an aussie buyer. An aussie buyer that does not appear to understand the listing, especially the part about NO INTERNATIONAL POSTAGE.

That shouldn't be an issue PJ, after all, England is only small. The item is in Leicester, so you could probably walk around instead of getting the car out.

The other thing you could do is be a nice person and go pick it up for Michelle and post it to her express, free of charge. After all, if it does eventually get posted, all we're going to hear about is it not arriving yet, couriers pulling up but not knocking on her door, the feral neighbours stealing her parcels, all the usual things that we hear every time she buys something from OS.

If you posted it express for her, then you would be preserving the mental health of all the other forum members. That should give you that nice warm, fuzzy feeling.

Yes, but that statement about no international postage only applies to everyone else, not Michelle. She can convince anyone, anywhere in the world to post to her, regardless of what their postage policy is. After all, she buys nice treats for the rodents!

If it's the Sylvac, then in Michelle's defence the listing states -

The seller has not specified a postage method to Australia. Contact the seller- and request shipping to your location.

That's not stating categorically that they don't post internationally,

or have I stuffed up again Does it?

As a buyer, when Michelle sees the bit that says 'posts to UK'

then reads ^^that red bit in 'postage' it would be very confusing IMO

And we all know she confuses easily
