Have had a parcel from China waiting for quarantine clearance for a week now, how long does this take generally?

Should I give them a call?

I've had parcels sitting in Sydney customs for almost 2 weeks, not sure if that is the same as Melbourne though. I would ring them. How much was the parcel worth? It sounds like there might be duty payable.

Was only $100USD so there isn't any duty payable.

My small item from the US is still in Sydney and has been for over four weeks.

From past experience I have found that Customs/Quarantine inspections usually hold the parcels up for 7-10 days unless there are issues which need your attention.
