How does one open up a case for an unreceived item?

Ebay have removed its email and phone numbers for customer services.

11 year customer looks like have made the final purchase !! Very dissapointing ebay.

Click on 'Help & Contact' at the top of your page then 'Didn't receive the item' and follow prompts.

There is no need to contact ebay to open a dispute.

How and when did you pay for the item? Once we know that there is sure to be someone around who can tell you how to proceed.

Is it the lock from the UK? If so it is being sent by GSP which is notoriously slow, I would give it 5 weeks before doing anything. GSP items have tracking so have you checked that to see where it is?

It is very easy to open a dispute through ebay but you are probably being a bit previous, ebay's number etc are there under help and contact, hardly hidden.

You've had an item not arrive and you are going to give up on eBay? How is it ebays fault the item hasn't arrived? I know they can be blamed for a lot of things but an item not arriving isn't one of them.

Follow the good advice by the other posters.

I'm confused. Seriously. Can someone else please double check.

OP bought the lock (nearly$1000) on 21st June.

Seller relisted on 23rd June.

That's not even enough time for a UPI

So, has the OP bought it or not?

Or am I overlooking something?

Cos that lock was re-listed 2 days later, and the OP is still waiting for delivery

I am interested in bidding on an item. However I fear that the seller will withdraw the item if he does not get what price he's determined, yet it is not listed as "Reserve Price" Here's part of his blurb

"RELISTED DUE TO NON PAYING IDIOT, if you can't pay DONT BID.

Pick up only,
May post depending on the price they go for
at buyers cost
I reserve the right to end bidding as they are advertised elsewhere.
He already seems quite upset judging by this comment."

I am interested in paying for postage but once again he has an unknowm price at which he wil post.
If I were to win the bid can he withdraw it?

On eBay.com.au, the reserve price option is only available for vehicles listed in the Cars, Motorcycles and Boats categories on eBay Motors.

You need to ask the seller how much postage would be to your postcode

before you bid.

And yes, he can withdraw the sale. You can't force anyone to sell to you.

Contact the seller, ask your questions and be polite.

They make like your attitude enough to be obliging

It is however against ebay rules to list anything that is advertised elsewhere. A scammer would know this and have said nothing, just ended the listing if they did sell it off site.

I thought this discussion had already taken place,

with no-one being able to find the relevant policy.

It was then decided that ebay had removed this policy?
