Negative feedback i leave is often removed

The feedback system is an entire joke.
Don't under any circumstances mention slow or late delivery as Ebay will remove that immediately regardless of waiting 15 days for postage and 32 days to receive. Next t ime it happened i tried just writing "negative" and that was it. Also removed.
Not a habitual neg leaver left about 6 negs in my life but it's useless leaving any feedback whatsoever. Except positive of course. We're now nearing the stage where just like for buyers the only feedback able to be left for sellers is positive.
so you have these sellers sitting on 100% without a neg anywhere to be seen and in both my recent cases i saw lots of negs that were removed in bulk to give the seller a clean slate. Sellers giving woeful service in so many ways appear to be a great seller.
Bordering on criminal collusion.

I am guessing that the negative feedback mentioning slow delivery was given to sellers who use the GSP from the USA or UK?

That is one of the reasons that sellers like the scheme...they are protected by ebay from bad feedback for anything to do with delivery.

Ebay will also remove negatives that mention disputes or use bad language.

6 out of 100 would get most sellers reaching for the block list.

Sellers can only leave positive so why should you be different?

You might try factual feedback that reflects the transaction. That doesn't contravene eBay guidelines. Have you read those? Or you might try buying from Australian sellers. More fool you if you wait 32 days for delivery. Was the item up to scratch? If you want immediate delivery maybe try buying from a real physical shop.

One was a local seller "express- get it fast" Free upgrade to express post. 100% feedback with thousands of sales so they must be good right?
Car parts so it figures people often want them fast. took 9 days and a lot of rubbish messages. The courier company support their lies by putting in an "attempted delivery" even though nobody had been anywhere near the place. That enables them to be free of the future negative so it's a 3 way deal. Seller, courier, Ebay. All conspiring to make a neg impossible. No compensation or apology because they know there's no repercussion.
Second one came from Latvia. Fair enough but not lodged at post office until 15 days after order. Handling time given was 10 days. Arrived 32 days after order. Feedback left- "negative". Removed next day.
Questioned Ebay staff and get smarmy stupid formulated answers and denials of anything being wrong.
in both cases i saw other buyers 2 and 3 above me had left negs. One had 3 negs one had about 8. All removed with mine. Swept clean and both sellers back to 100%.
That's the current landscape. Buy and hope.

6 out of 100? Try 6 out of 60 FB left, plus a couple of neutrals, plus a few not real good positives. If I had this many issues from such few transactions, I would have given up a long time ago.

Interesting that I have over 5,000 feedback as a buyer and have never left a neg or a neutral. I've bought from all corners of the earth, including the so called slow to arrive countries, like China and Hong Kong. I can count on one hand the amount of issues I've had and all have been resolved very quickly by sending the seller a polite message.

I love it when people come here to have a whinge, only to out themselves as someone I definitely wouldn't want buying from me. I'm sure there are plenty here who would feel the same way.

As tippy said, it's much more when the equivocal positives are counted.

If you think sellers don't read the boards and block buyers because of it, dream on.

I'm not sure how you think I have outed myself. This is primarily a board posting and buying ID. I list a few things on this ID, but way less than 5% of my total offerings. I don't smoke, btw, but that is the expected reaction, by those who really don't understand how online trading works, when their expectations are not in accordance with reality.

I agree. I just looked at your feedback left for others. I particularly liked this neutral you left for a seller:

Courier dumped it at mechanics 3km's away. It's a shame they let the seller down

Maybe buyers should punish sellers for the shortcomings of the delivery service!

It is eBay's estimated delivery dates that concern me when I do sell. I would hate to be punished for eBay's incompetence in estimating delivery dates.

Neutral not negative.
I'm leaving feedback on my buying experience when soemthing is advertised as delivered to your door i don't expect to have to go 3 km's to pick it up. The seller can change couriers or take it up with them. I was kind to the seller in leaving a neutal and explaining it. I wouldn't leave them a neg in that situation. I messaged them about it and was more or less told bad luck.
On the other hand 10 days handling time and it isn't lodged until 15 days later is the sellers fault hence that seller gets a negative. Well should anyway but you're not allowed.
I can foresee a situation where some other buyers might just resort to saying the item was very poor quality instead of being muted. Be a shame if that ever happens
