My searches on eBay have become very cumbersome. I spend a VERY LONG time staring at "ebay is not responding due to a long running script" while all their peripheral advertising loads before I can get my computer to respond.

I am assuming eBay will keep their long running script even if asked to shorten it. Any suggestions.

Have you tried clearing cache and cookies then rebooting your computer? Also if you happen to be using IE as a browser switch to Firefox or Chrome, they are much more eBay-friendly.

When that happens to me, I find that sometimes all it takes is to restart my computer.
