If you paid with paypal go to the page for that payment and the email/paypal address of the seller will be there.
You can do a send payment to that address.

Contact the seller and let them know as well.

My best guess would be to find the email that payment was sent from and send another payment to it from paypal with a note explaining payment

You have to manually resend payment. If you view the transaction in your PayPal account, it will show you the seller's email address that the original payment was sent to, so you can use that to send money to them.

You may have already processed the refund but if you haven't it would be a kindness to send it as a personal payment so the seller does not have to pay any fees especially as they will not have been refunded the 30c flat fee cost when they refunded. You know you don't need any buyer protection now so you lose nothing by doing it that way.

The few times I've had to contact Chinese sellers, they've always been great. The type of items I buy they tend to be honest sellers, which is evident by having shooting star feedback and 100% rating. A few times I've contacted when it's been quite a bit past the estimate and have added that I am happy to wait a little longer. Usually it arrives within the week. I don't mind waiting longer than most because I know they'll look after me if it doesn't eventually arrive.

When there was that major delays with shipments October 15, where there were lots of complaints, I had to stop a couple refunding me there on the spot. I said I'd wait a bit longer and let them know if it arrived. One mustn't have spoken very good English because I sent a message saying "good news, the item arrived today and I am very happy". She replied back within minutes saying sorry, I'll send a refund. I replied back with "no, no refund". She replied back with "I will refund soon". I ended up getting a Chinese friend to throw together a quick message and sent that. She replied very embarrassed and thanked me for my honesty.

Only once did I need a refund and there was no issues there at all. I asked if they could resend as I really wanted the item and she said she would prefer to refund or I'd lose my buyer protection, but was welcome to repurchase. She refunded within 20 minutes and I repurchased and it arrived 8 days later. Imagine that, a Chinese seller worried about buyer protection!

I guess it depends what you buy as to the integrity of the seller.

They are easy to pick because an "item" is referred to as a "project". I'm guessing item in Chinese translates to project in English because I've seen it in listings too where it's obvious they've used a translator. I admire them for trying. I wouldn't even attempt to try Mandarin!
