Invalid parent message ID

HI I have tried numerous times to reply to messages ebay support have sent me but every time it says 'Invalid parent message id' I need to upload photos to ebay support but it just won't let me.
Have contacted ebay about this and got a message back about how to upload photos but the person didn't understand that it just won't let me.
Any ideas how I can solve this issue ?

can you email them direct without using message system?

Are you replying to the messages via your eBay messages?

You can't reply via your Email server as it's not set up that way,(hence why you could be getting an error

message maybe?).

Wish I could upload a pic to show the invalid parent ID problem. But I have the same problem right now. USA seller. Showed up AU seller. They want screenshots I can't though. Will NOT let me reply within the eBay message app. I suggest calling them and figuring out a different route to get the pics to them. That's what I will do i think.

Trying to send ebay photo it keeps saying parent message ID is messing why wont it let me send them.

What was the solution please and thank you. I’m having the same issue. It says you can’t reply to this email address when I try it on my email app. I have the MC011 message if that’s what you had to reply to also.

I am not sure if the member you are asking is reading four and a half years after they posted, but they marked marked solutions in the green posts above yours

Have you tried those, or any of the others given?

I also doubt they will reply to you, since this question was asked in 2017

Again, have you tried any of the suggestion given to see if they still work?
