I am a seller on eBay......yesterday I won my first item as a bidder, 'what a buzz' then today won my second.....'this is sooo coooool' ......

It is all over now, there go the seller profits.........what else can I buy....bid on......buy....bid on....;\

I remember the first time I won a bid. I really wanted those ebooks lol. The auction would finish while I was on the way home from work. I remember furiously refreshing my ebay android app constantly that last 20 seconds.

I did a woot woot in the car when I got it lolol.

I knooow, it's easy to get hooked. Careful not to research properly, at the beginning I bought some shockers, looked better in pics, but not anymore. 😉

It's how I got started here, just buying things. Being isolated and not having a vehicle, it was wonderful! I was so stoked when I won my first auction. I had dial up too, so I was very pleased with myself. The seller was absolutely lovely and I still buy from her. You will never stop, now you have started. Nothing beats it! 🙂

I don't have a car either (and additionally I am not very strong, so I cannot really do much shopping when I travel by bus), so yes, eBay can make things much easier. I started using it a couple of months ago, although I registered years ago, and somehow I regret what I missed out in all these years...

I don't have a car, but I likve a 10 minute walk from the local shopping centre.. I'm just lazy and like buying things online so I can get packages 😄

I think the first thing I bought on eBay was Season one of Firefly, I had to pay with BD as I couldn't work out PayPal back then LOL

I have only bought little things so far, not enough in this id's paypal account yet,:^O but I am working on it, just waiting for my pp funds I put in to clear and I am OFF again, loving it!! Worst part though is 'choices...too many choices' lol

My first purchase - a DVD box set - and the first parcel in the mail. I'll never forget it. 🙂

All my early buys and wins had to be from Oz sellers - no PayPal and no plastic, and only a couple of hours a week on the internet on public computers as well. I can just imagine the wait on the part of sellers for my snail-mail money orders. LOL

Hi Koalablu, funny I just always assumed that sellers had been buyers as well. Soon you will have to snipe auctions to keep the buzz going.

Koala, does this mean that you have a paypal account for each ID?

You do not need to do this. You can link multiple IDs to one paypal account....I think it is 8. I have one paypal account and 2 IDs linked to it.

Also, you can transfer between one paypal account and another which is quicker than transferring from a bank account I believe.

Hey Lyndal, thanks for advice, it's all good, my id's are not linked, one is a partnership, one is just little ole me, so to keep things straight and easy for the lovely tax man, I keep all seperate personal stuff of mine on this one, and all my 'heavy duty amazing selling talents' on the puddytats one B-)

Fair enough Koala, if it makes it easier for you. But the advice still stands...the Tax man gets his money based on your ebay turnover, not your paypal turnover. The only way your paypal account is involved is when you record your fees paid on business transactions.
