Selling listings.

Hope ebay reads this.

Buying and selling on ebay is great. But ebay needs to (crack down) on listings that has two different item pictures in one listing.. Eg seller sells a jar of cream and description in words is a jar of cream but seller has pictures of jar of cream and jar of jam; also which they might be selling on another listing with same pictures. The buyer in the end of the cream listing ends up with jam in face as wrong item been shipped in post. I end up with wrong item as two different pictures and description only relates to one of those pictures.

Isn't listing like this violating ebay Policies? or is there no policies in place for this... They been cracking down on other issues why not this one which is getting out of control. Greg

eBay don't read here. In fact this forum is run by a company called Lithium, not eBay.

There is a genuine use for the function you mention but unfortunately many members, esp Asian abuse the tools we have been given. Basically because they don't give a rats, if I may be so blunt.

All I can suggest is to stay away from any listings that appear to have any doubts.

And I don't buy Chinese, H.K. or Malaysian. Too many scammers and junk.

Check the profile of the seller, their location is listed under the profile box, that'll tell you where they log in from and as such, it'll actually say china if they're in china and so forth because they can put ANY location on the item listing which is entirely STUPID to have happen even tho yes someone could be selling from a property somewhere else, that'd be an extremely rare case compared to all the china sellers pretending to be in AU.

What exactly has your post got to do with the OP? The question has nothing to do with the location of the item or the seller.
