Rip off by a scammer on ebay with 5 other buyers same item changing barcode on printed out postage show tracking shows delivered
Ebay wont refund even thou they suspended this scammer and paypal carnt do **bleep** either

Try a chargeback with your bank if you paid by PayPal linked to credit card.

You could always phone back Paypal, ask to speak to a supervisor and tell them you intend to bring in the Financial Ombudsman Service if they don't refund your money.

The scammer cleared out his paypal account and paypal must go by ebay rules plus ebay doent supply them with any information on the claim

When you can take screenshots of the seller's feedback and download it to the dispute.

If it's the seller you left the neg for just click on their ID and you'll get their feedback page.

Thats what makes it a real joke about ebay buyers quarentee they dont care about anything elles but a written letter that you carnt get by aust post because the way he changed the msiling details

Report it as a hijacked/scam account and tell them to check the account as the negative feedback proves

the scam,(this scam pops up on a regular basis).

The seller is Not A Registered User so they have been shut down,(the name was changed on the 4 of August

to a more trusting name so that they could scam more successful).

These scams are getting beyond a joke and with eBay/Paypal not refunding it may start to appear as if the

scammer is backed by them,(these cases were always resolved quickly with the buyers getting their money back

but with this new "angle" they are successfully ripping of eBay members)

Ii feel sorry for other buyers because of the brain dead customer service that works on one rule tracking shown as delivered and asking for written proff from austpost which you carnt get because label has been changed
Unless registered mail carnt buy on ebay now

Ebay has now refused my apeal so its official

As you were advised, get all your ducks in a row (including your copy of all correspondence with Australia Post) and contact the FOS.

BUT, be sure you have ALL relevant information. "I didn't receive it, because they changed the label (not possible if they are generating the label electronically as the QR and barcodes contain the original information)" will not cut it.

How exactly are they changing it?

I know I can put/change any tracking number in My eBay summary,(so is that also changing it on your

order form or buying summary?)

How can they get tracking information that shows as delivered?

I've also reported it via a message on their Facebook page as this is getting out of hand if scammers get the

money instead of the ripped of buyers,

If you change the adress and the postie scams the barcode it will show as delivered to the origenal adress before it was changed
