Depends on how undervalued they can get their goods for.

More importantly, did you get what you wanted for your items? Presumably 'yes', so what is the issue? Do you understand that once you have sold something it belongs to the person who bought it, to do with as they wish? If they sold elsewhere for a profit and you didn't know would it create the same level of angst? Have you considered increasing your prices?

I don't know about it happening all the time but it is not uncommon for sellers to buy items on ebay to resell.

If you feel you are not getting enough for your items why do you start them at 99 cents? Start them at a price you are happy to accept if you only get one bid. A 99 cent start price could perhaps be justified when you paid a listing fee based on the start price but with free listings there is no point in it.

Firstly, if you are going to start your Auctions off at 99c and get 1 bid on that item, you are in an almost no win situation. They Buyer will then have purchased a cheap item ( even including the postage ) and of course, may sell it on to make a greater profit than yourself. You must do your homework before listing an item. I would highly suggest that you don't start your Auctions off at 99c. ( even though ebay say this works best ) IMO it doesn't & hasn't done for a long time. It does work for some, Yes. Start them off at a price that you will make something off including all the costs. ( fees, etc ) Now, this may take some time and effort, but you will benefit greatly from it in the end. Hope that helps a little and Good Luck in the future.

I do this all the time, there is always someone selling something cheap that I can get double or treble for. Not with this ID I hasten to add. I have even bought out the stock of sellers that sell stuff cheaper than me, making my items the cheapest and with multiple stock. You have to sue every legal trick in the book to make a living on ebay. This ID is for selling some clearance items and I normally stop each year when total sales approach 6000-7000.....

Absolutely.

If a seller didnt want to sell at a cheap price, they would use BIN, increase the start bid or have a reserve they are happy with.

Once an item is sold its none of the sellers business what the buyer does with it.

If the buyer is better at selling and gets a higher price for the item than the original seller, kudos to them.
If the seller has not done their research appropriately to find out what they can actually get for the items, tough.

Im tempted to buy from you myself. Lol

Quick google search I just did - USED carebears can sell for $350? Full size USED strawberry shortcake can sell for $250, new for $350.

Yours might be the maccas ones but they are still offical care bears.

I would not be selling those toys on Ebay. Popular 80's toys are collectors items and very popular right now, and they would do better on a vintage doll auction site or something similar - like the ones I just found on google (carebears had an average of 10 watchers!).

Your polly pocket castle could be worth $150 if you have the dolls for it. If not, its still work more than 6 bucks.

Also, you dont have enough photos, or enough info in your listings for someone to be really confident to bid.

Shortcake doll - no pic of damage, no real detaisl other than name and date.

Polly pocket - no pic of castle open ( people wouldnt even know it opens by your pics), no details about missing or included peices etc etc).

Most people will bid on the spot. They dont really want to take time and effort to email you and wait your reply just to find out the basics, they will just bid on someone elses item

If you fix up the pics and descriptions, youll probably get much better price for the items.

Finding the rough value of then also only takes a 5 min google search.
