umm how is selling in bulk new? people have been selling clothes in bulk for as long as I've known about ebay.

Since we started selling we have listed items in single qty's, and also the same items in various "bulk" lots.

You are satisfying a different customer is all.

If you ONLY list items in bulk you will miss the customers who want single items. And vice-versa.

I didn't write that guide to patronise people like you, or to get "likes". I wrote it to help people who haven't sold in bulk before.

ahh gtx, then the OP should have just said "hey I wrote a guide that I thought might help some people sell in bulk what do you think". Not try and tell us that selling in bulk was a new concept.

I think I will write a guide for sellers starting with Point 1: If you have a carp sell through rate why waste your time, either change how you are listing things or have a garage sale. 2: Take decent, focussed photos against a plain background and NEVER wear the clothes unless you are a size 8 with modelling experience. 3: Always give a detailed description of each garment even if you are listing in bulk and the last one for now: Always give at least basic measurements for clothing items.

Mm... Sounds like you sneaked a look at my listings... haha and if you did, it's not me modelling, it's my mum. And she's clearly not a size 8, but don't you think a size 8 would look weird modelling size 14 clothes??

I don't care who was wearing it, never a good idea. I hope you take note of the other points as I have been selling on ebay for many, many years and would have given up a long time ago if my sell through rate for auction items fell below 70%, Really it is effort in profit out, if you don't give detailed descriptions and measurements you won't sell as much and you will be selling for less.

Have you never heard of posting IDs?

PJ has been selling for many years and has at least 3 selling IDs that I know of. She only sells for 6 months of the year while she is in Australia.
