Ebay Messages going astray

Recently I sold a BIN item.....I sent the invoice, sent an email with my ph no, sent another as I hadn't heard, (via the ebay system) and eventually the buyer emailed me asking about arrangements to pick up. I asked them to ring me but got no reply, so sent my address and when they arrived to pick up told me they hadn't received any invoice or emails from me, only the reply to their email.

When I checked my ebay Sent box emails my ones were not shown.

So I emailed ebay and they wrote back saying they are having trouble with Sent emails not showing, many complaints, and feel my problem is connected with this and they are working on the whole thing right now.

Just thought I'd share my experience in case anyone like me thinks they have a NPB when in actual fact it could be the emails going astray. I'm really prompt with communications and felt really embarrassed trying to explain to the buyer that I had indeed sent invoice and emails, though they were very nice thank goodness. .

Anyone else had this happen?
