eBay tracking not working

I use exclusively click-and-send for my parcels at present

I note that eBay has recently introduced a tracking thing that if you click on a tracking number it displays a bar that goes from -------accepted------------in transit-------------delivered-----

Now it has a disclaimer down the bottom which says about a possible delay... but I've been checking all of them and no data exists at all, even for ones I know have been delivered... this worries me as I've just sent a parcel last week to a newbie (0 FB)... I just hope they don't freak out and panic...

I've checked all my numbers on www.austpost.com.au/track and they have data.

Does anyone else have some that work? Or is this perhaps only visible to buyers?

Wish eBay would test their new features BEFORE they implemented them.. it would make a nice change.

That has never shown anything since it was put there.

Just enter the tracking number into the AP site

I complained about the tracking numbers disappeared from my sold items in early March and received ebays response that there was a problem and they were working on it; however the tracking number is visible to my buyers.

No progress since then.

When you get that window, click on the number again (in the window) when I do that the full tracking pops up

It doesn't do that for me Fred... but thanks folks for your replies...

seems we are stuck with yet another "improvement" that doesn't work, yay. I'll just have to put a bit in my emails about it with a pointer to austpost.

I just tick the option in C&S to send tracking updates to the buyer. They only have to open the emails then.

and don't forget the ebay site said the buyers can see the clickable number, just not the sellers.
