Thank you sparklz, I have considered the anchor store. This one worries me because I will have to pay it even while on holidays or on a slow month when i don't list as much as usual. It would be great if I could change the store month from month according to how I plan on listing for each month.

Can someone please tell me how i can figure out when i have reached my limit for "free insertion fees for listings" . As it stands , when I list items I can see the totals add up for each listing as I list them. I have no idea how to tell if i am getting the free listings. i have a featured store. I usually pay around $500 a month in ebay fees as I am a high volume seller but i usually only sell items for between $1.00 and $10.00. I am trying to figure out whats best for me with the new fee structure , or if it might be time to pack it in. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Maybe consider an Anchor store if it will be cost effective.

IMO, based purely on that info, I would say you're better off sticking with a featured store, presuming the $500 includes store subscription, insertion fees and final value fees together.

Featured will give you 200 free listings, which is worth a negligible $6 for items in media categories, but a reasonable $40 for other categories. So, on a very basic level, you would need to be selling over $4k a month for any increase in FVF to make you worse off than you are now with a featured store.

So, on a very basic level, you would need to be selling over $4k a month for any increase in FVF to make you worse off than you are now with a featured store.

I got that wrong - I keep thinking about the 1% difference between Basic and Featured FVF on fixed price listings.

If all your categories will attract the higher FVF, you will be better off than you are now with a Featured store if your turnover is under $2700 a month.
