i have sold 2 items and print postage label comes up on the right hand side. What happens if I dont print the label, do I get charged a fee by EBay?

there is no charge by ebay unless you choose the option and follow the prompts.

that being said - if it is your two items that recently sold and they are under 500g - the print postage label is a good thing, you obtain a ebay postage label for $7.45 (the cost is charged to your ebay bill) and it provides automatic tracking including an email to your buyer - all you have to do is wrap your item, stick on the label and lodge it at the PO for no further charge.
