Does anyone know what to do about selling brand new sportswear purchased direct from the manufacturer so without bar codes or product identifiers please? Will Ebay accept the 'Does Not Apply' choice from the drop down menu in this situation?

yes just write 'does not apply' for each drop down, such a huge waste of time and energy for something not even ebay searchable.

I would think if you are sourcing your products from a manufacturer who supplies globally then they should have this type of ids on their products. Chase them up for the codes.

@harley_babes_hoard wrote:
yes just write 'does not apply' for each drop down, such a huge waste of time and energy for something not even ebay searchable.

I have had a bit of trouble with these too. Recently when listing a new item, I typed in correct numbers several times, only to be told they where not valid. The only way I could make the system work was select "like new" in description and write NEW in title. ( not such a biggy for my one off items, but could worry other sellers ). I had a call from an American ebay rep yesterday "explaining" the new system. When I told them about the problem, they said there should be a drop down which has the option " does not apply" that you click on whenever you dont have the correct numbers. I looked for this drop down at the time but could not find it. I discussed this with the rep for a couple of minutes and they insisted there should be a drop down option. SO.... do we have to manualy type in "does not apply" or is there a drop down option to just click on ???
