Problem with FileExchange CSV with missing Product Identifiers Brand UPC MPN etc for new items

Hello all,

I am having a problem with the CSV File Exchange format, hope someone with experience can help.

The old CSV file has been working until ebay enforced the inclusion of Product Identifiers. Now FE upload failed because I did not have those fields in my CSV.

More importantly, I don't have thos numbers as my new items having no packaging or labels and it's impossible to find those UPC and MPN.

On the common ebay Seller Form I can choose "Does not apply" from the drop down menu. As for the brand I can choose "Unbranded/Generic" from the drop down menu.

But how do I translate these to FE format? can anyone advise the column title and appropriate values that will be accepted as "does not apply" values?

I went through the FE Guidebook PDF but it doesn't provide a value of "does not apply"

any help is much appreciated.

after spending many hours and trials and errors I finally solved the puzzle. I had already modified the code in my own software (& CSV generator) to accomodate the parameters so it's not in my head at the moment. I will have to look it up the code to see what values they are, this has been a very busy time due to so many committments so I will look into these answers when I have time, thanks
